If you’ve never booked a family photoshoot, then you probably have a million questions. I know that parents put a lot of effort in researching photographers in their community, choosing an esthetic style that they like, saving money and making room in their busy schedules to be able to organize this event. Usually, if you have a great first experience, then chances are that you will rebook the photographer chosen. I think it’s important that you have confidence in the service you will receive. I definitely recommend having a look at my portfolio to have an idea how your portraits will turn out. If you have your heart set on a public location, I might have examples to show you as well.

How to book.

When booking a session, you can reach me in different ways. Here are your options, by email (catherine.lacelle@yahoo.com), by phone (450-516-4372) during the evening or on the weekend or through Facebook and Instagram messenger. I do prefer the Facebook app the most because I get to easily send your booking appointments. If you’ve never met me and would like to chat via a video app then we can arrange that as well. On our first chat we will decide on the type of session, the location and a date/time for a session. When you are ready to book, you will send a non-refundable deposit of 75$ to my email via bank transfer. We can also meet up if you prefer to pay by cash. Once I receive your payment I will direct you towards Facebook for your confirmation and your appointment. Whichever way you choose to contact me, you will get a quick response on my part. If you book a full session, the remaining fees can be paid AFTER our session.

Easy and fun.

You should expect your photoshoot to be fun, playful and easy. Once your session is booked there really isn’t much planning to do at that point. All you need to do is get dressed and drive to the location. Some of my mini-sessions have props already organized and the  is taken care of. We will chat and laugh through the session so we get to know each other a little bit better. If you are a repeat client, then I want all the updates since the last session we had together. Building friendships is a big part of this job and it’s something that I value. I didn’t grow up where I live right now, so meeting families from my community and other children that go to my kids’ school is really cool. I offer the total package! Fun fact, I’m always really excited when I head out to a photoshoot and I’ve been told that I smile behind the camera the entire time…

Digital album.

Just so you know, I don’t offer print packages with my service, with the only exception of hockey or sport sessions. It can take quite some time to have it delivered since I haven’t found a local business to take these special orders. When the remaining balance of the sessions is paid, you will receive a digital album of all your portraits in color as well as black and white (My favorite!). Once your album has been loaded, I will send you a link through messenger where you will be able to view your photos and also add family members and friends. Afterwards you will be able to download your album on your computer or onto your phone and then send them out to your local printer to get your prints or simply shared on your social media accounts. PLEASE NOTE, I will delete your album at some point. Please make sure to download them on a hard drive, USB key or external drive. Recovering your album is a possibility but you will be charged a fee.
